I still remember the first time I received your Newsletter. When I saw that there was this pen friend scheme , I nervously decided to write a letter. I am so grateful to God’s Spirit for allowing us to meet and get to know each other! I remember that I was still very depressed at that time and hadn’t really recovered yet . Thank you so much for giving me so much positive energy and never rejecting me . I promise you, if I really get the chance to go back, I will join the PFA and be part of the volunteer group, hoping to serve more people in need. Just like back then, when I was sad, upset, and unwell, you offered help in the nick of time—a little warmth, an act of kindness, can touch others . So, I really hope to have the opportunity to give back to society and to people in need!!

I thank you very much for everything you have done for me and my family. You’ve brought me close to your heart and into your life. You took the time to visit me, and I was so happy to have you as my visitor. Thank you!
I am very grateful for your time. This island is very far, but you made it. You showed me kindness, and I’m sure you will remain my friend here and beyond. I will also tell my family that in the place where I was, someone was very good to me.

"I received your postcard - what a great pleasure! Thank you. I think this will be my last letter from prison. Now everything feels like "the last" - last month, last call to my mother, next week my last visit to the outside clinic to see the specialist, then the last week, and finally the last night here. It's so exciting!
In this final letter, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your tremendous support throughout most of my sentence. Your friendship made everything so much
easier."
